Industry Trend Analysis - Investment And Infrastructure To Support Sales Revival - MAY 2017
BMI View : Malaysia ' s CV segment will emerge from a three-year downturn and return to positive growth in 2017 , supported by sol i d levels of investment by businesses and the government ' s commitment to infrastructure development.
We expect Malaysia's commercial vehicle (CV) market to emerge from a three-year slump in 2017 on the back of a rise in business confidence and stable growth in the construction industry. We therefore forecast CV sales to grow 1.5% in 2017 reaching 66,562 units, following a 13% drop in 2016.
