Amid rising unemployment and firms suffering from weak profitability, there seems to be little respite for the Bulgarian autos industry in the medium term. Although we expect overall recovery in vehicle demand to begin from 2011, growth is likely to be rather fragile. Sales will reach close to 40,500 units by the end of 2014, only partially recovering from peak sales of 57,900 units in 2008.
