Tatra Continues To Struggle With Finances In 2009

Czech truck maker Tatra, has registered a 45% fall in its sales during 2009, after a record CZK5.9bn in sales in 2008, local news source Prague Monitor has reported. BMI believes that the dominant player in the Czech heavy commercial vehicle segment has suffered from a near 39% year-on-year (y-o-y) fall in its domestic market during 2009, while receiving little comfort from its main export markets of India, China, Russia and Europe.
