German premium carmaker Mercedes expects to sell 4,000 new cars in Malaysia in 2010, based on projections for an improvement in the country's passenger car market. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia CEO Peter Honegg revealed that after a shaky start to the year the company is likely to beat this year's target of matching 2007's sales of 3,600 units by around 200-300 units.
