Car Sales Stay Down Despite July Growth

New vehicle sales in the Philippines rose by 6.3% in July, compared to June, according to data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI). The total of 11,597 units was the highest monthly tally for the year to date. The growth can be attributed to a strong performance by the commercial vehicle segment, which accounts for around 65% of total industry sales.
