The Venezuelan autos market is in a state of collapse, which is having a knock-on effect on domestic manufacturing. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum has confirmed that proposals to ensure that 30% of vehicles manufactured and sold domestically must be equipped with dual-fuel engines will go ahead. The regulation was passed by the National Assembly in July of last year and came into affect in early April this year.
