The Slovakian automotive market seems to be undaunted by the latest global economic crisis, although most of the major auto markets have revised down their growth forecast for this year and next year. Slovakia Automotive Industry Association Director Maria Novakova revealed that the association remains positive about its earlier growth forecasts and expects car production to grow by 8-10% year-on-year (y-o-y) in 2008.
