Thailand's Industry Minister Suwit Khunkitti has announced that Japanese carmaker Honda will build a regional research and development (R&D) centre in Thailand for its Asia and Oceania operations. Honda R&D Asia Pacific will operate the centre, which will be the company's fourth outside Japan, alongside similar facilities in the US, Europe and China. Suwit added that the centre is due to be completed and operational in H209.
