Zhongxing Automobile looks set to be the first Chinese carmaker to make it into the US market. The company has announced plans to approach the US, via exports from Mexico, where it will build SUVs and pick-up trucks at a plant in Tijuana. Bill Pollack, chairman of Zhongxing's New Jersey-based distributor Chamco Auto, expects sales of 20,000 units in Mexico in the first year. Within two years, Pollack aims to be exporting to the
