General Motors has attributed its record Q1 2007 sales in the Middle East to new model launches and new dealers in the UAE. The US giant sold 30,679 units in the region during the first three months of the year, up 16% y-o-y. The charge was led in the UAE, which registered its own record sales of 4,186 units, some 17% higher than Q1 2006. Newly appointed Abu Dhabi and Al Ain-based dealers Bin Hadoomah Trading & General Services (Chevrolet) and Liberty Abu Dhabi Automobiles (Cadillac and Hummer) were highlighted by GM as playing an integral part in the company's
