Japan's Toyota is facing the possibility of a slide in exports from its Thailand base this year, due to economic and political instability in its overseas markets. Toyota Motor Thailand (TMT) president Mitsuhiro Sonoda stated that the ASEAN regional market in particular was still suffering economically, while the Middle East faced unrest in Iran and Iraq.
