BMI estimates that car sales in Bahrain performed better than expected in 2006, with sales growth of 12%. Mercedes-Benz and General Motors both reported 19% growth, to 610 and 2,303 units respectively, suggesting broad-based growth across all car segments, according to BMI's latest Bahrain Automotive Report.
