German premium carmaker BMW has posted record sales results in the markets of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), with sales of 11,250 units. In the wider Middle East region, sales reached 14,332 units, compared with 13,753 in the previous year. BMW Group Middle East largely attributes the growth to its sales in the UAE, which accounted for 5,000 units of the total.
