The poor performance of Thailand's new vehicle sales in the first half of 2006 has continued for the remainder of the year to November, falling 4.5% y-o-y. BMI's newly published Thailand Automotives Report suggests that many of the contributing factors will not be addressed in time for full-year sales to recover and with this in mind, BMI forecasts a decline in the region of 7% by year-end to 652,556 units. Worthy of note within this projection, is that passenger cars are expected to carry the market, which has traditionally been focussed on the commercial segment and the pick-up truck market
