Indonesia's new vehicle sales have turned a corner following a cut in interest rates. BMI highlights the effect of Bank Indonesia's decision in its recently published Indonesia Automotives Report, which envisages full-year sales of 312,000 units. This is a downward revision from the previous forecast of just under 342,000 units, but the Report recognises that the upturn witnessed in November should be sustainable going into December and beyond.
