As the world's fifth largest oil exporter, Venezuela has seen a surge in the number of gas-guzzling SUVs being sold. Venezuelans, who are unperturbed by the massive increases in the price of oil currently dampening sales elsewhere, are opting to purchase these larger vehicles, as President Chavez's calls for moderation apparently go unheeded.
