Japanese carmaker Honda has unveiled plans to create a vehicle capable of running solely on alcohol, or ethanol. The new flexible-fuel vehicle (FFV) will have a system that allows it to run on 100% ethanol or any percentage mix of ethanol and gasoline ranging between 20% and 100%. Honda's new system is expected to provide heightened fuel efficiency, as well as having the obvious advantage of cutting polluting gas emissions.
