TVS Motor Company is making a strong bid for Latin America. According to sectors of the Indian press, the company has formed a joint venture with an unnamed Colombian company, which will assemble two-wheel vehicles such as scooterettes and high-end motor cycles, including the Apache. TVS will be taking on market leaders Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki in Latin America's burgeoning two-wheel market.
