Porsche's Middle East sales grew 16% in FY2005/06 (August-July) to 4,419 units. The Cayenne SUV represented 79% of Porsche's regional sales, with sales of the model up 5% to 2,863 units. The 911 range bolstered Porsche's market, with sales up 12% to 747 units - the best ever performance of the series on the regional market. Meanwhile, Boxter sales totalled 611 units, with the Cayman model representing 56% of regional series sales. Porsche expects it will at least match the performance in FY2005/06 in the current financial year and will get a further boost in 2009 when the four-door Panamera
