GM is gearing up to launch a modified version of its Corsa Sedan in Chile. Chilean online publication El Mercurio reports that Chile will receive the Sail model, which is made by Shanghai General Motors in September. The new vehicle will be named the Corsa Plus in a bid to instil a sense of the vehicle's durability into the Chilean consumer psyche. The new vehicle will add to GM's existing product portfolio, which includes successful models such as the Corsa Extra and the Aveo, and will compete in one of the market's most competitive segments.
