Australia's automotive industry is on the brink of shutting down as workers at one of the country's major parts suppliers, Huon Corporation, threaten strike action. The strike was called when Huon, which went into administration in June, attempted to cut 122 jobs last week without employee entitlements to the value of US$30mn.
