Slovakian automotive sales grew 14.2% y-o-y in the first half of 2006 to 38,886 units, with passenger car sales growing 6.2% and light commercial vehicle sales up 51.3%. Skoda passenger car registrations fell by 9.2% to 8,102 units, while in the LCV segment Skoda saw deliveries rise 168.9% to 1,901 units.
