France's PSA Peugeot Citroën has followed up success in its home region of Europe by developing its business in Latin America. In 2004 the company's sales for the region grew by 31%. The company operates production facilities in Brazil and Argentina, producing around 240,000 units per year combined. The PSA plant in Porto Real, Brazil has an annual production capacity of 100,00 units and produces the Peugeot 206, 206 SW, Citroën Xsara Picasso and Citroën C3. The site comprises a body shop, assembly line, paint shop and engine component plant, while suppliers are base at a nearby technology park. In
