Japanese carmaker Toyota is set to begin production operations in Malaysia, according to managing director of local unit UMW Toyota, David Chen. Speaking at the KL International Automotive Conference, Chen stated that the type of vehicle for the first model had been chosen and would be due for launch in around 18 months.
