After postponing plans to adopt the E20 gas and ethanol mixture as the new vehicle fuel of choice, the Thai government now appears to be backing compressed natural gas (CNG). The government held a meeting this week to discuss the possible reduction of excise tax by around THB50,000 on cars powered by the alternative
