Japanese component manufacturer Denso Corp will expand its production of vehicle air conditioning units in Turkey with the construction of a new plant in Gebze. Work will begin on the plant in July 2006 and when complete in June 2007, Denso's Turkish unit, Denso Otomotive Parcalari Sanayi Anonim Sirket (DNTR), will relocate to the new facility.
