Lifan Starts Afresh After Split With Holland

China's Lifan Company has announced plans to invest US$300mn in a new car assembly plant in Ethiopia, just months after terminating a previous agreement with Holland Car. According to the Daily Monitor, Lifan has already found a new partner in Yangfan Ethiopia, which will be the exclusive distributor of vehicles produced at the plant and related parts, as well as providing after-sales services.
