Daimler's Fuel Cell Vehicle Moves: Too Little Too Late?

Germany's Daimler is looking to improve its fuel cell vehicle (FCV) technology to match the progress made by its rivals BMW and Audi with alternative fuel vehicles. Given that both carmakers and governments worldwide are promoting the mass acceptability of fuel cell vehicles, we believe that Daimler's renewed focus on FCVs could bring it long-term gains. However, a lot needs to be done for it to match the technological developments of its rivals in the short and medium term.
