MAN Bags Strategic Partner In Russia, But Local Production Still Crucial

Germany's MAN and local sales subsidiary MAN Avtomobili Rossiya (MAR) have bagged a massive order for 1,700 heavy TGS trucks from Russian retail chain MAGNIT. The deal signed between MAN and Tander, a management company of MAGNIT, not only strengthens MAN's position as a strategic and long-term partner for the local retail giant but also highlights the growing prominence of foreign truck makers in Russia.
