Export Forecast Revised As Japanese Carmakers Turn To Taiwan
October 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisBMI has revised its forecast for Taiwan's vehicle exports upwards after a record first half to the year, mostly led by Japanese brands looking to offset the strong yen by raising output and exports elsewhere. The Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) reported exports of 13,000 vehicles for H110, up on the usual annual average of 10,000 units for the first half of the year.
