Domestic And Export Demand Will Fuel Production Growth, But Downside Risks Remain

Slow domestic demand and labour strikes have resulted in a 9.1% year-on-year (y-o-y) fall in Brazil's auto production, to 308,100 units during September, according to National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea) estimates. Cumulative production for the first three quarters of this year, however, stands at 2.72mn units, up by more than 17% compared with the same period last year.
