BMI's View Of Brazil-Led Growth Plays Out, But Caution Remains
September 2010 | Industry NewsBMI's view that Argentine auto production will be the major beneficiary of the booming auto demand in Brazil is playing out, with Italian carmaker Fiat claiming its Brazilian production will grow a third in the next two years, should the pace of Brazilian demand be maintained. Such is its optimism, the carmaker expects its Cordoba plant in Argentina to operate at full capacity in the next two years, with daily production rising from 420 to 1,200 units.
