Has Spyker Bitten Off More Than It Can Chew?

Saab Automobile's restructuring is likely to hit new road blocks with its new owner Spyker Cars posting losses of EUR139mn in H110. Calling its earlier targets for Saab 'a little bit too optimistic', Spyker CEO Victor Muller has revised down its near-term sales target for Saab from 50,000 to 45,000 units by the end of 2010. It expects to sell close to 80,000 units in 2011.
