A significant degree of optimism has returned to tyre manufacturers in Europe, with Continental,Michelin and Pirelli all raising their end of year targets. While much of this is owing to their positive H110 financial performance, BMI warns that increases in raw material prices and the slow pace of economic recovery in Europe pose a major threat to their future growth.
