Vehicle Sales Move In Line With BMI Forecast
July 2010 | Industry Trend AnalysisA continued slowdown in month-on-month (m-o-m) vehicle sales growth in Brazil has prompted the nation's automobile dealers' association Fenabrave to downgrade its total vehicles sales forecast to a modest 7.8% y-o-y, down from its earlier forecast of nearly 8.5 y-o-y by the end of 2010. After a 9.6% m-o-m decline in sales during May, 262,780 units (including new cars, light vehicles, trucks and buses) where shifted in June, marking a small 4.7% recovery from May's low level.
