Local And External Conditions Favour Doubling Of Auto Production
June 2010 | Industry NewsFinance Minister Ernesto Cordero has reinforced BMI's forecast that Mexico will produce nearly 2.5mn vehicles by the end of 2014 and revealed he expects auto output to nearly double to around 3mn units in the next three to five years. The optimism comes on the back of a slew of investments from existing and new carmakers in Mexico.
