Ford Agrees Size Matters And Makes Calculated Entry Into Small Car Market

BMI's short-term core view that small cars will dominate carmaker's product strategies has received a major boost after Ford Motor completed the conversion of its truck plant in Cuautitlán in Mexico to build the Fiesta model. The remodelled facility, which cost US$1bn and took two years to complete, will make 180,000 Fiestas this year.
