GM Daewoo Capitalises On Premium Segment's Return To Growth

The launch of a high-end sedan by GM Daewoo signals a move by domestic carmakers to take advantage of a recovery in South Korea's luxury car segment, which until now has been largely dominated by imported brands. However, BMI believes GM Daewoo represents an interesting mix of local knowledge and manufacturing operations from the former Daewoo Motor, coupled with the engineering team of parent General Motors Company (GM).
