Government Looks To Compete As Autos Hub
April 2010 | Industry NewsIndonesia is looking for ways to make its autos sector an integral part of the ASEAN Economic Community 'and not just become a market for other ASEAN countries', according to Industry Minister MS Hidayat. In line with BMI's long-term core view that more emerging markets will become global production bases, the ministry is considering incentives to make Indonesia one of the region's major autos hubs.
