Used Car Dealers To Face Limited Market
April 2010 | Industry NewsThe slow recovery in most emerging markets is prompting used car dealers to revisit their growth strategies and instead focus on improved profitability. Amid rising income levels and affordability, used car dealers in the emerging Europe region had attempted to grow by expanding their operations to newer markets. But these operations were hit by poor sales, forcing dealerships to claw back some of their loss-making divisions to limit their losses. Although we expect demand to eventually recover, we see only a limited increase as consumers will increasingly favour new cars.
