Export Demand Grows Thanks To Global Recovery

The outlook for global passenger vehicle demand is improving after a 47% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in German car exports, to 1.05mn units, in Q110. Germany - the largest auto producer in Europe and the fourth largest in the world behind Japan, China and the US - relies on European markets for as much as three quarters of its total production, according to estimates from the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
