Electric Car Pre-Empts Increased Power Supply

Ethiopia has become the second in the continent after South Africa to launch its own electric car, despite fears of insufficient power supply and infrastructure. The Solaris Elettra is produced in Addis Ababa by Freestyle, which plans to increase output of the car from six per week to 30 per week as soon as the company's plant is fully operational.
