Honda Second Shift Adds To Staff Recalls

Honda Motor has announced its will restore the second shift at its plant in Alliston, Ontario, which will create 400 jobs. The second shift was withdrawn in February 2009, halving the plant's daily output from 800 to 400 cars. However, increasing demand for the company's cars, particularly for the Alliston-built Civic, which is Canada's best-selling passenger car, has prompted a return to the two-shift
