EVs Get Government And Private Support

The Spanish government plans to invest EUR590mn towards developing an electric vehicle (EV) in the country, with the view to making these vehicles mass popular, Agence France-Presse has reported. Although the Spanish market has been one of the hardest hit from the global economic crisis, the government's enthusiasm towards promoting these vehicles shows just how serious it is on catching up with other European countries in the EV race.
