Commercial Vehicle Sales Continue To Drag

Sales of light commercial vehicles (weighing up to 3.5 tonnes) in Europe grew positively for the first time since April 2008, and reached 106,986 units, marking a marginal 1.8% growth compared with the same month last year, according to estimates from the Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Automobiles (ACEA). Although this helps to strengthen the overall industry consensus that the worst is over for the European commercial vehicle segment, there remains considerable uncertainty about the upswing in the vehicle segment.
