Daimler And BYD Join Forces For EV Project
March 2010 | Project NewsGermany's Daimler and China's BYD Auto have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and produce an electric vehicle (EV) specifically for the Chinese market. The partners will jointly establish a new brand for the resulting model and will set up a technology centre dedicated to local design, development and testing.
