Struggling Importers Begin Downsizing Operations

Private car importers in Venezuela are having to streamline or significantly downsize their operations due to poor demand. BMI points outs out that the car import business looked very promising between 2005 and 2007 and had attracted a number of global carmakers to the country, most of which established their presence through dealerships or authorised import companies.
