Dealerships Feel The VAT Brunt

As many as half of car dealers in Croatia could be looking to close down their operations in 2010, a survey conducted by business weekly Lider has revealed. The new car market fell a sharp 49.1% year-on-year (y-o-y), to 44,891 units, during 2009 and there seems to be little respite in 2010 with January sales of 2,601 units, down 37.5% compared with the same month last year.
