BMW To Start Inter-Model Sharing

German luxury carmaker BMW will share parts of its 7-Series with its lower-priced sedan models as it moves ahead with its strategy to save costs, Bloomberg has reported. BMI points out inter-model and inter-company component sharing is rapidly becoming common for the global autos industry as carmakers come under pressure to deliver competitive models while ensuring they do not cut deeper into their pockets.
