Fiat-Chrysler Alliance Comes Into Action

Italy's Fiat has chosen US carmaker Chrysler's plant in Toluca, near Mexico City, to produce its highly successful 500 model, Reuters has reported. The announcement falls in line with BMI's view that the localisation of the model will help facilitate Fiat's plans for occupying a 15% market share in Latin America by 2012 and make way for the 500's entry into the US.
